Connected Threads

Connected Threads is a mission group of the church, founded in 2004 by Norma Ahlborn and Mary (Mimi) Zickefoose to show Christ's love to women in local shelters and pregnancy centers by "connecting" with them through donations of knitted and crocheted afghans, slippers, hats/scarf sets and washcloths. 

It is open to all women of the area who would like to knit and crochet items for donation.

 

The group meets at the Burgettstown Presbyterian Church (On Main Street) on Thursdays from 9:30 - 11:30 a.m., September through May (with breaks for holidays) for Bible study, discussion and fellowship. All supplies are provided and basic knit and crochet lessons are taught to anyone who would like to participate.
